It depends on how many trees and how big, how thick the brush is, whether the stumps need to come out or just get ground, and what happens to the debris. A quarter acre house lot with a dozen pines and light brush is a different job from two acres of thicket. Matthew walks the property, counts what has to go, and gives you a lot price. For a residential lot, clearing usually needs no permit, but grading, anything near a creek or wetland, and larger acreage may. Matthew will tell you when to check with Pitt County or the city before he starts. Silt fence and erosion control are the builder's or owner's responsibility, but he can install it if you need it.
