Trimming is priced per tree. Small jobs with a few limbs off a single tree are at the low end. Big hardwoods that need a full crown lift and thinning over a house are the most involved because every limb has to be roped down. Doing the whole yard in one visit is cheaper per tree than coming back three times. The estimate is free and in person, so the number you get is for your trees, not an average.

It is priced per tree based on size, how much is coming off, and how hard it is to reach. A single pine with two limbs over the carport is a quick job. A big oak that needs the whole crown lifted and thinned over a roof is a half day of rigging. Matthew looks at it and gives you a price for the tree, or for the whole yard if you want everything done at once, which is the better deal.
Most mature hardwoods in Greenville do fine on a three to five year cycle once they have been brought back into shape. Fast growers like sweetgum, Bradford pear, and crepe myrtle want more frequent attention. Pines mostly need deadwood removed and limbs kept off the house, not regular shaping.
In North Carolina you can generally cut what crosses onto your property back to the line, as long as it does not kill the tree. Matthew stays on your side, makes proper cuts, and will tell you if what you want done would damage the tree enough to become a problem with the neighbor.
